The private road leading to the property is in terrible condition!!! Dusty radiators and lack of housekeeping create a neglected atmosphere. The dusty decor and outdated lampshades seriously detract from any charm this place might have!!!

I had a fantastic stay at Edward. The location stood out, just a short walk to the city center and the train station. The staff greeted me warmly, which set a positive tone right away. My room was spacious, with clean and comfortable beds. I appreciated the ample plug sockets, perfect for charging devices. The shower pressure impressed me, making morning routines enjoyable. The breakfast offered good variety and was cooked to order, ensuring everything was fresh and tasty. I faced a minor inconvenience with the breakfast buffet. it could use a bit more variety like fruit or yogurt. Navigating the hotel was a bit tricky due to narrow corridors, which may not be ideal with heavy luggage. The communal areas were a bit eclectic in decor but created a cozy vibe. A little more attention to cleanliness in the communal kitchen would elevate the experience. I truly enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to others visiting Gloucester.
